Canada: Prioritize Clean Water for First Nations

This article relates to SDG6 Clean Water & Sanitation.

Over 100 First Nations communities are without safe, clean drinking water in Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau promised, when he got elected, that all First Nations communities would have clean water within five years. Two years later, the numbers are worse than when he got into office.

This blatant human rights crisis is incomprehensible in a wealthy G8 country like Canada. Everyone should have access to clean and safe drinking and washing water.

It's time to pressure PM Trudeau to put his money where his mouth is and come through on his campaign promise to provide clean drinking to all First Nations. Trudeau has been able to charm people with his sweet words, while doing nothing.

Your voice now is more important than ever to ensure that Trudeau's promises are more than empty lies.

Sign today to stand for clean water on First Nations in Canada and tell Trudeau to prioritize clean water!
