Introducing you to The Indigenous Navigator

Warm greetings from The Indigenous Navigator Initiative!

The data revolution is changing the way we conceive development. The Indigenous Navigator will play a key role to ensure that indigenous peoples can gather and use their own data to elevate their claims to justice and development.

As we move forward the implementation of the initiative, we welcome the support of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues and the European Union for generating data on indigenous peoples with the Indigenous Navigator tools.

Disaggregated data is exactly what we need for making sure indigenous peoples are not invisible in the global development agenda.

In this first issue of our newsletter, we will present you The Indigenous Navigator in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals. All the articles in this edition answer one crucial question: what can we do to make the SDGs work for indigenous peoples?

We thank you for your interest in The Indigenous Navigator and your recent subscription to our newsletter. We are pleased to share with you all the updates on the Indigenous Navigator framework and tools, and keep you informed about the promotion of indigenous peoples' rights in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
