Pastoralism, our food security pillar

This article is in relation to SDG1 No Poverty and SDG2 Zero Hunger.

“Did you know that securing the future of pastoralism is central to attaining food security for the over 25% of the population that lives in dry lands? Pastoralism has been proven to increase the adaptive capacity for these communities enabling them to build resilience to attain food security. Since 2014, we have been supporting initiatives to enable communities in Karamoja in Uganda and Turkana in Kenya to break barriers towards food security… there is now a positive outlook for pastoralism.”
