Sub-Regional Stakeholder Capacity Development Workshop for Pacific Small Islands Developing States

  • 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

The UNDESA Division for Sustainable Development Goals, in partnership with UN-ESCAP and UNDP-Pacific are organizing a Sustainable Development Goals (2030 Agenda) and Voluntary National Review (VNR) Capacity Building Workshop for Pacific Small Islands Developing States (PSIDS) from 24 – 27 September 2018, in Fiji.

Building on this positive political momentum and in order to explore ways to create more opportunities for meaningful engagement by all stakeholders, a Sub-Regional Capacity Development Workshop for relevant stakeholders in the Pacific Small Islands Developing States, will also be held on 28 September 2018. By organizing the stakeholders capacity building workshop back-to-back with other relevant sub-regional meetings, this activity will benefit from intergovernmental discussions as well as maximize the use of available resources, expanding the reach and diversity of participants.
