“The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the agendas for the meetings taking place during the 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) to the UNFCCC, which will convene in Bonn, Germany, from 6-17 November 2017.
The released documents include provisional annotated agendas for the 23rd session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 23) to the UNFCCC (FCCC/CP/2017/1), the 13th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP 13) (FCCC/KP/CMP/2017/1) and the 47th sessions of the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA 47) (FCCC/SBSTA/2017/5) and the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI 47) (FCCC/SBI/2017/8).
The SBI is expected to discuss, among other issues: common timeframes for Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs); development of modalities and procedures for the operation and use of a public registry; the annual technical progress report of the Paris Committee on Capacity-building (PCCB); and ways of enhancing the implementation of training, public awareness, public participation and public access to information so as to enhance actions under the Paris Agreement.”
